Overview

The Gulf Coast RCIC only accepts applications for Commercialization Awards.  Applications are reviewed and submitted to the TETF on a quarterly basis.

The Gulf Coast RCIC serves its 30-county region in southeast Texas.  For companies with a current or planned presence in the Gulf Coast region, they should submit their applications to the Gulf Coast RCIC.  Also, companies with university partners within the Gulf Coast RCIC's region may consider submitting their application to the Gulf Coast RCIC.

The Gulf Coast RCIC uses this website to process applications.  To submit an application to the Gulf Coast RCIC, you must follow these steps:

Getting Assistance with your Application

The Gulf Coast RCIC holds quarterly Applicant Workshops, about one month prior to each Application Submission Deadline.  Registered applicants will also have an Application Planning Meeting with RCIC staff, prior to the Application Deadline.

The Houston Technology Center holds Orientation Sessions about every two weeks, on Wednesdays at 4PM.  Included in the Orientation Session is information on the ETF, Gulf Coast RCIC and applying for Grants through the Gulf Coast RCIC.  If you are interested in attending an upcoming HTC Orientation session, click here and sign up.
